Plustek OpticFilm 8100 Film Scanner

Just excellent

Bought it to scan some old family films, quality was excellent as expected. Film tray worked fine keeping my curled films flat. This model does not have infrared scratch/dust feature (8200 does), but I did not really miss it, as the software did amazing job in finding and correcting most of defects. Not much else to be said, it simply works exactly as advertised. Overall very happy with it.

Excellent

Used it recently on camping in windy conditions in Ireland and it worked great, it boiled pretty fast. I only wish it had a whistle, hard to see when it's boiling or not. It is VERY light.

Excellent!

Works great and as expected. No RGB price inflating gimmicks. Allowed my CPU to go from 4GHz to 4.6GHz and runs cooler than before :) Very happy with it. I mounted additional 120 fan onto the radiator (total of 8 long screws are provided), so now it is dead silent.
