An All Round a Super Buy
Does exactly what a normal manufactures standard DVD - RW CD will do.
It is very robust and comes with USB data connection lead which also powers the unit.
Also included is a separate USB to power lead to fit the back of the unit which I have not needed to use as the USB data connection lead provides power as well as data transfer.
Am using it on a Windows 10 Home Laptop but it also worked perfectly on Windows 7 and is simple Plug & Play too (no drivers or set-up required)!!

A Real Life Saver
Zip up 2.5 Inch Portable External Hard Drive Case 2TB Western Digital Elements HDD (it is generic - check the size as shown). 2TB WD goes in perfectly and is held securely by an elastic strap on one side of the clam-shell case. The other half has a netted section to house the connection cable and or USB. When zipped up it will afford good all round protection from knocks bangs and even drops from a sensible height.
Essential for that all Irreplaceable and important data in this digital age where everything from music to banking and a life time of photos could be lost in a computer crash or HDD failure if not backed up to an external drive and protected from knocks in a case, such as ths.
