Poor build quality headset with insensitive microphone.
1 of 1 found this helpful Despite being Microsoft-branded, this is an extremely flimsy headset. There is nothing good to say about it apart from the fact that it cost only around £3, but as it does not serve its intended purpose, that money much just as well have been thrown down a drain.
The microphone is insensitive compared to another headset I use meaning people at the other end could not hear me. The build quality is very poor.
It may be cheap, but it's worth spending a little more on a headset if you want it to (1) work as intended and (2) last more than a few days without falling to pieces.

Inaccurate and tastes disgusting
It beeps before a stable temperature reading has been reached. If you keep it under the tongue longer, the displayed temperature goes up by around 0.3 degrees. This is unacceptable considering the narrow range of 36.1C - 37.3C for the human body.
The flexible grey plastic shaft connecting the sensor to the display has a horrible taste, even after thoroughly cleaning it several times.
Considering this is branded as "Omron", a recognised name in medical electronics, I had expected a lot better.

Solidly-built basic fan heater
1 of 1 found this helpful Surprisingly good quality fan heater purchased from Currys PC World. Well designed and solid build and it seems to to work well. Noise level is fairly normal for a compact fan heater. It has been used for 6 weeks so far and no problems yet.
If the unit is accidentally tipped, it automatically stops for safety reasons.
The only downside is the power cable is only 1.1m long but in most situations, this should not be a problem.
