Brilliant work
Very well written and, obviously very well researched. This is written about two powerful and very intelligent women who lived and effectively ruled in a Mans' World at a major crux in the development of Early Medieval Europe.
Much of the History of this time has been lost, destroyed or, intentionally occulted to minimise the roles and influence of the major female players.
Written from the female perspective without being overtly Feminist, this book is academically pleasing without being overly dry and soulless.
Very much worth the read for all those interested in the Era, as well as those who have a more academic bent.
I compliment the Author on all aspects of The Dark Queens and, thank her for her efforts.

Value for money
4 of 4 found this helpful This is not the best drill in the world. It is affordably priced and functions as it should. Supplied with an adjustable handle and depth gauge, it is as usable as any other, more expensive offering. It also comes with a pair of replacement carbon brushes which is a very nice touch. The hammer action works well as does the trigger mounted speed controller. This drill should only be considered for light to medium duty cycle work: i.e. short periods of work. If you need industrial duty cycles; this will not suit but, what can be expected for such a low unit price. I have used it on brick, stone, steel, aluminium and wood and wood composites without any problems whatsoever. If it gets hot, let it cool down; don't abuse it and it won't let you down. After all, if don't know how to use a tool correctly then you shouldn't be using it at all.

Tasty
Good quality, good price, great taste. I only use demerara or cane sugars regardless of purpose and this is a good example of the former. My tea drinking friends/family tell me that it improves the taste without being cloying and oversweet as with refined sugar. I'm a coffee drinker so use this every day and also in my cooking/baking. Can't fault it at all as it is simply a very good product and I recommend it for all.
