Fine for the price
Are they as good as bearings 8 times the price? Nah, of course they're not. Are they good enough for what you pay? Yeah, they are. Remains to be seen how well they'll last, but for the price I'm happy.

Stunning!
3 of 3 found this helpful When my old headphones died I was looking at new pairs at around half the price of the Grados, when a hi fi buff friend sent me a link to them. I'd never even heard of them, but a quick google revealed some extremelt positive feedback about them. "What the hell" thought I, and placed a bid.
The first thing I noticed when they arrived was the retro look both to the packaging and to the speakers themselves. They look like something from the 1950s, although the mini jack and chunky cable belie their real quality. I had them delivered to work, so I plugged them into my PC and fired up some MP3s in Foobar.
The first thing I listened to was a 320kbps version of Tom Waits' Orphans album (which, I hasten to add, I own the full version of on CD), and immediately I was blown away. The clarity and neutrality of the sound was like nothing I'd ever heard before - it was like I wasn't hearing a representation of a double bass and piano, I was hearing the instruments themselves just as they were recorded.
When I got home the first thing I did was play the same album on CD through my hi fi system, and if anything it sounded even better. I then experimented with a selection of different CDs and genre, ranging from harsh metal through distortion filled rock to hip hop and jazz. Every single one sounded spectacular, highlighting just how bad my previous equipment was.
Problems? None, per se. The quality of the reproduction does highlight any inadequacies in the recording - you can pretty much forget about listening to any mp3s below 256kbps, and I now need to buy a new turntable as my current one just isn't up to the job...
VERY highly recommended.

Big 'n' soft
I've recently got back into skating as a middle aged man, and my rock hard 53mm wheels were rattling me to pieces on the gnarly tarmac on the way to work. I stuck these on my deck along with a pair of risers and the difference was night and day. Barely rideable sections are now smooth and fast and I can carry speed so much better.
These wheels are probably not for you if you spend all your time skating smooth parks, and they're probably not that great at sliding if that's your thing. But for cruising around on battered streets popping off a few curbs they're damn near perfect. They're well priced too, and I like the minimal graphics - though that might not be to everyone's taste.
Just make sure your trucks / risers are high enough so you don't get wheel bite. First pic shows them next to my old 53s for scale.
