Midsomer mayhem ,you might like to visit, but will you escape?
My wife is the Barnaby fan so this is her review as much as mine ,anything for a quiet life!
Right what do you need to know? Midsomer County, it would be safer to live on a sinking ship...with the sharks waiting!
Fear not here comes D.C.I. Tom Barnaby and his trusty sidekick D.S. Jones[who always does the running and gets shoved into dodgy situations first!] These two are of the Holmes/Watson school of dtectives anyone wanting the Sweeney look elsewhere.
These series always have a superb guest cast, a roll call of British t.v. talent, a lot of fun can be had by guessing how long guest star A is going to last and how they are going to get chopped! Yes gentle viewer by these later series shooting and poisoning were old hat,check out the guillotine and what happens to Suzi Quattro when she grabs her microphone.
So if you like your murder and mayhem in a calm, stylish and above all English variety then Midsomer is the place for you.

A good way to start learning about using computers professionally
I am currently unemployed but fighting back.I have started on a computer course and this is the version of Office they use.
Whilst my computer had a trial version of this programme the licence expired before the course started, so I was going to purchase Office 2010 instead, however my tutors and other I.T. users advised me to remain on this version and interestingly a lot of other people have done the same.
As much as any Microsoft product can be the basic operation is fairly simple, once you have used the various programmes it contains a few times, the more you learn the easier it gets, like most things in life. I still think that Powerpoint is best used by someone with artistic inclinations! Picasso anyone? The ribbon also is a useful tool and not the work of the Devil as some people have claimed!
Overall I can recommend this version to any one like myself who is relatively new to computers but wants to learn more with a view to gaining a good grounding in using computers for a living.

Best Mars film
Fans of this movie ,taken from an excellent must read book, probably are thinking is this worth it? Oh yes! The small extra scenes are all placed throughout the movie and enhance an already brilliant film. If you are familiar with the picture I will not spoil it see if you can spot them all! My favourite scene? Still the moment when the crew vote to mutiny and risk returning to Mars to rescue their crew mate in direct defiance of NASA mission orders. brilliant acting the choice of music, in an already superb choice of tracks, fantastic a real 'feel good' moment.
This is an essential purchase even if you already own a copy of the original cut.
