Excellent read. It is an emotionally difficult read but must stick with it. I think everyone should read this book
1 of 1 found this helpful This book can be emotionally draining at times but is very well written and captivating. Parts are difficult to believe at times even though you know that they are true. Truth is scarier than fiction.
I really do think that everyone should read this book to be aware of the slavery that still goes on abroad and here and the affect it has on people and their families.
Even though a difficult read at times, the ending is the best ending I have ever read and truly had my heart racing.
The sequel Freedom is also a must read.
These books are also for sharing so everyone can read the story
