Part of a Collection
I collect war hats, helmets, and bonnets and I needed a British C19 Pith Helmet, not just for my helmet but to complete my Scottish Highland regiment uniform (based on uniforms worn in South Africa during the Boer War). The product I purchased was a perfect match, exactly what I required. It was a good price, excellent quality and met my requirements exactly.

Dunkirk - Old Vs New.
1 of 1 found this helpful I recently watched the new movie Dunkirk and while I loved it, there was something missing. I knew that I had that feeling because I had seen the old movie Dunkirk a few times, but I couldn't put my finger on what the new movie was missing compared the the old. That's why I purchased the old movie and I am not disappointed. The old movie in many ways is superior to the new. Its a better story line of a British platoon trying to find their company and they pursue their retreating comrades all the way to Dunkirk and of course they bump into "Jerry" a few times along the way. But what was missing from the new movie - it was the shear number of troops and amount of equipment on the beach at Dunkirk and the amount of boats that came to the rescue of the Allied soldiers, the new movie greatly underestimated those numbers. The old movie showed a much more realistic volume of troops desperate to escape and the breach crammed with men and deserted equipment. The new movie is great, but the old movie still had a bit more punch!

Prevent an Accident Waiting to Happen!
I live on the south coast of NSW - very much a "tourist" town. Unfortunately, with the arrival of many tourists comes ignorance and many ignore road speeds. This situation becomes more severe during school holidays when there are kids everywhere on the streets, riding their bikes and playing cricket. Almost every wheelie bin on my street has one or more of these kind of street speed warnings and it seems to make a difference. It's important to do whatever you can to reduce the chance of an accident waiting to happen.
