Works but with limitations
Fine for soldering 2 or 3 joints in light wire but not suitable for soldering say 8 or 10 joints because it cuts out before you finish the job and you then have to wait for it to cool.It looks to be well made but I'm less sure that bits are in a suitable metal. Other solder guns use copper bits and if you use 1.5mm copper it heats quickly and solves the problem. Perhaps Silverline should look into this.

Not recommended.
It's just about OK, not total rubbish but certainly not impressive. Seems like many outlets offer this suggesting they are made in vast numbers. Cheap and cheerful? Well cheap but not quite so cheerful!

Too soon to tell
I'm well impressed with performance, much brighter than the old bulb. I can't sensibly rate this item because I've only had it a couple of weeks. Ask me again in a year.
