Infamous HBA at a great price
1 of 1 found this helpful Using it as a replacement for the perc 6i in a Dell R710. For my application I wanted a card that offered drive pass through AND S.M.A.R.T. info. [Who knew these were useful features in an enterprise data scenario? 😉 ] Been running 24/7 for a month with no issues whatsoever. Great HBA.
Update: Card failed after ~6 months. started dropping disks. tested in other server with same result. Have run quite a few of these without issue though so I'll be back for more (removed 1 star)
