Feature rich knife.
At work I am opening many cardboard boxes and cutting tape and plastic. Safety is paramount so this knife with its self retracting blade is secure as soon as you let go of the lever the blade is drawn into the body so no cuts to anything else. The blade sits on a metal carrier so there is no long term failing as with my previous safety knife when the blade cut through the plastic carrier and started jaming the retracting action. Also inside the handle there is storage for spare blades and these are held firmly in place by a metal clip so they don't rattle about. Normal Stanley blades will also fit. There is even a small screw stored in the rear of the handle which can be used to screw the sliding blade carrier into a fixed position if you wanted the blade open all the time at a certain depth. The two metal halves of knife body are held together by one large screw with a raised centre bar so you can unscrew it by hand and you don't need to search for the correct screw driver to open it. Whats even more amazing is when the screw is undone it doesn't drop away from the body of the handle as it is cleverly locked to the handle so you don't lose it. When you open the two halves of the knife you also don't have spare blades, springs or screws dropping out as they are all fixed in. The handle of the knife is metal and no rubber texture coating so nothing will wear and lift off. My previous knife had rubber stuck on it which soon wire and peeled away. The knife is like those smaller Stanley knives, is comfortable in the hand and light.
