Product does what I wanted.
I've had hood struts on previous vehicles and they greatly reduce the frustration of working around the factory hood prop rod. Order wise - delivery was timely and packaging was intact with no damage to the product. Never looked at the instructions, as I've installed these several times and they are pretty simple to figure out, so I can't speak to the instructions. Product installed easily and within about 15 minutes installation was done. A little muscle required to compress the piston to fit in over the ball joint, but not difficult. Make sure to leave the prop rod up until both shocks are installed - one shock will not hold up the hood. Overall, a little bit expensive considering I can buy the same struts at a local auto part store for a third of the price - but the ball joint clips are needed so they kinda got ya.... Overall, recommend the product.
