Best kettle I’ve ever had.

This kettle replaces the same one I’ve had for years. It is a simple no nonsense kettle that has the features I want: I can see how much water I am boiling and it boils quickly, the spout doesn’t dribble, it has good capacity at 1.7litres, it feels well balanced when lifted. I’d had the previous kettle for several years. The only problems I had were with the filter, which holed, and the lid - the hinge wore out and the lid wouldn’t stay open when the kettle was being filled. Unable to order a filter online, I contacted Breville direct. The lovely person I spoke to managed to source a filter and send it to me. I have kept it as a spare for the new kettle.

New aerial not required!

This is an exact replacement of the original which was badly corroded. A perfect fit, and no problems with reception since fitted.

Perfect good looking replacement.

It does the job without any frills like a timer and humidistat. It is a simple pull cord version. It is an exact replacement for the extractor fan we have had for several years, so no new holes to drill and not difficult to fit. Another point in its favour is that it looks good and is not bulky.
