Gatorskins With Attitude
After getting a series of flats with my old tires, I switched to Gatorskins based on reviews I've read. Gatorskins seem to have a harder rubber compound, and they seem to be built thicker on the center bar. Not only do I feel more confident in being able to avoid some of the flats I've experienced in the past, but the tires are fast. The best of both worlds ; )

A bottling bucket eager to get to work
My brewing friends and I are doin' the simultaneous brewing of a Scotch ale and an Altbier on Super Bowl Sunday; we'll indoctrinated the bottling bucket two weeks after that. Then I'll know how well it performs. Frankly, I don't see the need for the lid unless I plan on fermenting in it. As it is, it took me a dog's year to get it off. But it will come in handy for keeping the dust out of the bucket during storage. Brew on!
