Smaller, sleeker and cheaper than the iphone 5, I love this version.
I have a cracking sim card deal with Virgin so needed a good but reasonably priced phone when my old nokia died. Being used to the ipod touch I found this phone so easy to use. We had assumed all phones would be built for ease of use but I hate my husbands Samsung GT and so does he.
Comparing with my mates iphone 5 the only obvious thing is apparently the camera is better. Personally I like the smaller size of the 3GS. If you are not worried about having the very latest phone then the 3GS is a great price and does everything your want and well. I love it.

Really cheap and really good
Was easy to put on - no bubble issues that you get with the thin plastic screen savers. I have had a glass screen saver before (professionally fitted) so I am used to how thick it is, if you have only had thin plastic note that the glass ones are thicker and you can feel it when you press the home button - this is true with professionally fitted ones too.
Have not had it long enough to comment on durability.
The little wet and dry pads for cleaning prior to application could be bigger, they are really tiny.
