Keeping out the poor letting in the good.
I bought these great headphones to replace a set of old ones that dies when my wife tripped over their cable! (the wife survived). The main reason for choosing these is they enclose the ear, this keeps out the other sounds from my surroundings, I(like tripping wives!). These are without doubt the best headphones I have ever used. A rich deep base but still containing a good treble.

Songs Revisited.
This is an album of revisited songs performed before a live audience. There is always a greater frisson when artists are live and this is so true here! These were great songs the first time around. Emmylou Harris has evolved as a singer and has come a long way from her Bluegrass roots and is now able to emhance every one of these songs with the magic she now is able to draw from some deep well that only very few singers have found. I can highly recommend this album and in particular these tracks stand out. The soaring lyrics of Songbird. The classic RO Love Hurts gets a Bluegrass update. The simplicity of the wondeful Prayer In Open D The deep sadness of Boulder to Birmingham. A Wow! what a power ballad The Maker has become. Yes all in all a great purchase!

Unmissable!!!
Fabulously moving lyrics folded into backing tracks garnered from many lands and woven together so skillfully that the whole listening experience becomes very emotional. This the most exciting Emmylou album I have yet heard. It is a must for the thinking country music listeners collection.
