red/White bike lights , Rolson, lightweight, 'emergency' bag lghts
Definitely ingenious (push on/off) rubber band dependable fix (saddle stem, front bar and similar diameter, I am of the age that has the pair or one on my walking stick/staff ! It amuses others (always a friendly thing !) & is genuinely useful, flashing in dark, paths or side of road or a light for the door keyhole when home ! Slight drawback, but worth their occasional use, are the battery costs, about £8 for 2 pairs 'disc button batteries, Sainsbury.. The lights are not for leaving on the bike; they'll be gone when you return... for the bag only...

Ideal cycle Security
1 of 1 found this helpful Basically essential very secure but light and flexible (no fighting 'sprung type coils), separate lock; enough length for wheels/frame/grounded post; plastic protection, no rust, no frame scratches; light weight enough not to leave at home, choose yr own lock/key/ weight. Day use, not cheapo, but maybe not for fulltime motorbike/ Cyclists best..?

Blitz Firefighters
I'm very biased, my old Dad fought the Docks' blaze around St Paul's, Old Bailey (Churchill came down there, stood on the rubble in smoke and said to Dad's group ("I want you to save that building; I have a candidate for it when the War is over ". Unfortunately, Hitler found another way...) . So this book will arouse the reader to usually unknown War Home Front fighters, and lead to more research....
