The price was right

Unfortunately this came with some sort of scratch in the middle of the e-reader screen which is glaring bright. It's only about 1/2 inch long. But annoying. I bought this as a second Nook for my husband... in addition to the one I have. So, it's not our primary Nook. Everything else on the Nook , wifi, etc works fine.

Defintely On TOP of the ear

These do not cover or "cup" your entire ear, and that's just what I was looking for. I don't use them for music, just podcasts, you tubes, etc. So I don't know about music quality. The ONLY draw back is the wire to charge them is proprietary. It's a USB to mini, but the mini part is not your 'standard' mini plug. Don't lose your cord. Comes in a nice bag, also.
