Great machine for the price!!!

As a professional seamstress who sews everything from bridal to alterations to doll clothes, I have used lots of machines over the last 30 years or so and find this one to be one of the best! I altered a knit bridesmaid dress and had no skipping of stitches doing the hem and I didn't have to use a needle for knits! I repaired jeans also and had no problem sewing over many layers, it never skipped a stitch!! And when I sew doll clothes, I like to run my seams together and they never bunched up at the start!! As well as the decorative stitches are really nice to add detail and accent!! It's easy to thread and the needle stopping in the material is really nice, especially when turning a corner! This machine is very light weight and I was afraid it wouldn't be able too handle many layers and heavy material, but it has proven that it can handle more than I've been able to throw at it so far! Right now the only thing I found that I'm not real happy with is the foot pedal! It is kind of small and seems to run all over the place when using it. Maybe I just need to get used to it! I bought this machine for the decorative stitches and the reviews that said it could handle lots of fabric layers and weight and it really does!! I love it!!
