Marc Caro's first solo production without Jeunet (Delicatessen, City of Lost Children etc.), this is a dark embarcation into deep space. Expect to see a good qailty film here with strong narrative and high production qualities. The special effects are good, and thankfully used sensibly by Caro, unlike the vast majority of hollywood space epics we see. The cast (including Dominic Pinon), present a powerful portrayal of incarcaration within a floating asylum & prison, to which the audience will end up sympathising with. Good film overall with messianic overtones, and thoroughly watchable.

Album Of The Year?
Many FNM fans consider Angel Dust to have been the highpoint of this bands career, and in comparison to following albums such as King for a Day, which was a departure from their usual style into heavier waters (with the exception of the title track of the same name) they are not usually wrong. Album of the Year, was the bands final album together (with the exception of a two track feature on Sparks - Plagiarism), and was a welcome return to the archetypal funk thrash prog-rock style for which the band had become renown. The best of the tracks on this album include Last Cup of Sorrow, Ashes to Ashes (both of which feature upbeat slap bass rifts resonant of their earlier work), through to heavier chords like Collision, and melancholies such as Strip Search. If you are considering buying this album - check out the live performance of Last Cup of Sorrow (Phoenix Festival ’97) on YouTube. Then ask yourself why you don’t own this album yet!!!

Great multi-purpose handset that with a few tweaks can be upgraded to match the iPhone in terms of useablilty and power...but for a third or the price! Examples include installing sat nav or personal GPS software, upgrading the OS version, even upgrading the standard additional memory cards from 2GB micro SD to 16GB micro SDHC. The phone comes as standard with WM Media player and WIFI. You can also download Google Maps to run just like an iPhone. Additional skins, and desktop themes are also avaialibl just like Vista or XP.
