A true classic of living and cooking in the South. Celestine Sibley was a columnist with the Atlanta Journal Constitution for many years. What a good story teller, and yes, she could cook, too. I lost my first copy of this book to Hurricane Katrina. I'm so glad to have a new-to-me copy of this classic. A Place Called Sweet Apple is on a par with Cross Creek Cookery by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.
