Telekon

Gary Numan was about 20 years ahead of his time when he made this album. He was around the same time as Depeche Mode, Queen and Duran Duran and yet still had an army of devout fans dubbed by the press as "Numanoids". If he had made this music 20 years later his life story would have been a different one to the one he tells in his songs. Also check out "Replicas" and "Warriors". All three albums are nothing less than genius especially when you consider the constant hounding and bad press that he had from the media (mostly I think because his music did not fit in with what everyone else at the time were doing-HOW DARE HE)!!!

Gatecrasher : Disco-tech

Represents what the real sound of Gatecrasher (the club) was like in the late 90's. I should know because I was there!! Some of the biggest tunes of all time are on this double cd. Takes me right back!!! Excellent listening.

Gary Numan - Warriors

I bought it because I used to listen to Numan stuff (including this album) in my teens and thought it would be a good nostalgia trip. I was therefore somewhat surprised to discover how much I "re-like" this album. Its classy jazz sound mixed with electronic beats and sounds is soothing and yet uplifting at the same time-something I didnt experience years ago. As a result of this I have bought other albums of his that I used to own.
