Pleasantly surprised by this little saw
Brought this saw on sale at £150, I had seen it on other sites at close to £300. Could not find any reviews for it so took a shot in the dark. My main heavy duty saw is a petrol Stihl, I brought this electric one just for light work.
Delivery was fast and it's well packaged in cardboard so everything can be recycled easily. It takes a few minutes to put together, instructions aren't great but you can figure it out. The quality of the manufacturer is very good, feels solid in the hand and the battery fits in snuggly. The oil tank is slightly awkward to fill and the chain tensioner takes a little getting used to, but both function as required. The battery charges in the stated time and appears to be good quality, although there are no markings on it to suggest it's manufactured by Samsung.
I haven't used the saw for long periods of time so can not comment on the run time of the battery. However, I was impressed by the power the saw delivered when I was cutting up some lumps of Oak that even my Stihl would have to work at to get through. To sum up, it's quality built, it's got some guts and at £150 Including battery and charger you would be foolish not to. At full retail I might pass and look at the Makita instead.

Great fun
Brought one of these after seeing a friends. The kids love playing with this in the park, great way to spend an hour in the fresh air with the kids running to fetch the rockets. Not sure how long it will last as build quality is reflected by the price, but sure is fun while it lasts. The rockets can go a long way. I haven't got one to 400ft yet and im not a small guy, even angled at 45 degrees, but I would definitely buy again.

A lot of bang for your buck.
Good quality for the money, battery lasts longer than expected. Easy to put together, kids love it. The steering system is the only slight negatve as its not that robust and bike has a large turning circle, but it does the job.
