Little fellar

Similar to the old roto tom but better tone. ( depth of shell ) Can sound like a small tom or timbale depending on how you strike with or sithout rim.

This unit thinks for you. I bought it to replace another that died from brown power surges. I only want it for TV and phono. Almost always I run 7.1 for live programming TV then mute the receiver for commercials. It makes old vinyl 33 rpm recordings come alive if left in 7.1 surround. Like an engineer remaster effect actually. For this it is flawless in my opinion. I do not use blue tooth CD, DVD, Video Tape etc. With a smart TV and good speaker placement the Denon is very user friendly. I manually adjusted the speaker volume and run a powered sub. My living room is filled with very proficient midrange rich sound. (I do not like lots of treble although it can be obtained easily.) Buy a Sony or Yamaha for lots of high frequency and no flat response if you like high frequencies. I am very satisfied with this Denon AVR-3802 7.1 Channel 110 x 7 Watts Home Theater Surround Receiver.
