About

For years, I’d spend far too much money at nurseries. I could picture taking everything at the store
and giving it a good home. Surprisingly it took some years before I realized that growing and gardening was a passion of mine. I could spend all day around plants, flowers, and all manner of growing things.

While not spiritual in a broad sense, I am awed by the power of the seed, sun, and moisture. All life on Earth is based on these three things. The Earth is a delightful place, and I believe that we should do what we can to keep it that way and to improve it just a little bit while we’re here.

King Arthur's World (Super Nintendo Entertainment System, 1993)

Yes, 90s puzzle games are fun in 2018
Like "Lemmings" and "3 Vikings", you use various units with specific skills to walk a king to the objective. It's fun to have the engineers launch a catapult and rain down hellfire! Each level's puzzles get progressively more challenging (and lengthy and complicated). One of my favorite games from the 90s, I feel it still works in the 2010's.

Sturdier than floating shelf systems, looks better than vertical rails
It's easy to assemble, and it looks better on an office wall than a tier of metal vertical rails and supports. It can hold a good amount of weight, though probably not as much as a vertical rail system. It holds to the wall by bridging three studs and a cleat-type of interlocking goes on. It is mostly particle board, so if it gets banged up on a corner, the particle board construction is evident. But I like the two that I have up and recommend this type of shelf.
