Looks amazing!
1 of 1 found this helpful Kind of hard to find a watch that looks this good for this price. Yes, I ditched the bracelet it came with and put on a different bracelet. The original bracelet is basically scrap metal, yeah that bad. Keeps good time so far. There is no hacking or hand winding but for a daily wear those really aren't necessary. It has a hardlex crystal which might be better than regular mineral but it still scratches about the same. The underside probably has the same but I really don't think that it is necessary. The 7S26 isn't much to look at and it is another piece of glass. Overall this watch isn't too big or heavy for a small wrist and looks great for a dress watch or a daily wear. The band width is definitely 18mm.

An interesting personal story during the second world war.
I had this book many years ago. My dad received it as a gift when he did his residency at Spartanburg medical in the nineties. There are many documentaries about WWII, this book is a very personal account of one individual. It is very interesting and offers a few personal anecdotes.

Beautiful!
This is a beautiful watch. It is accurate and can be worn for almost any occasion. It does have some weight. Also, my wrist isn't that big so the watch is a little too big. All that said it is comfortable to wear, though the metal bracelet can be constricting in a hot environment where you start to sweat. For hot outdoor environments I recommend a leather or nylon strap. The end links appear to be solid, it has a coated sapphire crystal, and a screw on back. The links on the bracelet are simple push pin and can be sized easily and the butterfly clasp is convenient. It is supposed to be water resistant to 100 meters but I have not tested this, no plans to either. Would recommend against any real diving with it. The selection that I have seen is limited to blue, black, and silver dials. A polished stainless steel or polished steel and gold bracelet or a leather strap. There is one irritating catch to this watch besides size and weight and that is the irregular odd number lug width, 21mm. Most watch straps and bracelets on the after market are even numbered like 20mm or 22mm. Otherwise it is an all around excellent watch.
