Poor quality

Disappointing. Could not easily find the end, so had to cut - would be so much better if it was marked. Very fiddly to sew in and keeps breaking when you try to tie off the ends. First wash (hand wash) and it all broke leaving the cuffs loose again. It was completely pointless. I will stick to shirring elastic in the future.

Handle started to disintegrate after 18 months

This is a reasonably good kettle, for the price. It's lightweight but has a sturdy base. Some water always seems to leak out from the lid and spout when boiling (I don't think it's that well made). But it boils quickly on an induction hob. The disappointment is that after 18 months the plastic coating on the handle has started to flake off, not what you expect from a product with a 10 year guarantee! It's going to go back and the search for a good kettle starts again. Make sure you get one with a metal or wooden handle instead.
