The compact and affordable camera that evokes passion to photography
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought Canon PowerShot G1 x 14.3 MP Didital camera, because it offers features in making pictures that are close to any professional demand. In the same time it is small and compact enough for carrying it anywhere with me. Now I understand why most professionals take this camera as their second one - compact, price-quality matching in it is excellent. It has almost all features options (automatic and manual) of a professional camera, but at affordable pricing for its quality. It has built-in modes of working out the best photo during series of shots. It is the one that is designed for people passionate to learn making photos professionally, but it needs lots of reading and learning about styles and photography technics for exploring it at the best it can. There is a fantastic specialised guide for this model on how to make optimal use of it. It is extremely helpful for non-professionals that are found of making photos like a professional. Compared to the strictly professional brands Canon is the only brand that offers cameras, bearing all professional modes for exploring different techniques, being at affordable pricing for its quality at the same time, and small enough for everyday use. It is compact for being professionals' second camera and it is affordable for mass users as their experience camera for quality pictures. I experienced Canon PowerShot series are created with passion and by lots of research and development under one concept. G1x is not evolving G15, but it is its next, almost revolutionary level of development in quality, therefore becoming one of the most desired by professionals. It is the baby that disrupts the previous G 10, 12, 15 series on the journey to the later model of more and more professional sophistication. This is the camera that I experience new ways of doing pictures with. It makes me passionate of doing this every minute I can. The more I learn about it the more I like it.
