Probably the best sound you can get without begining to spend silly money on persuing almost inaudible superiority.
I bought this for the amp but the rest of the stack works great too. I had a jvc amp reciever that i never really liked the harsh treble and cold bass sound of despite a pair if bose 301s, this class a amp is the best i will ever need without entering into the relm of 'do i even hear the difference really'. Its much warmer, solid, more defined bass with cleaner treble that makes music more enjoyable and reveals alot of the details that my last amp skimped on.

It does the job.
The extension tubes work well but are completely plastic aside from the contact pins.

Universal?
Good size, not metal, plastic skull with thin chrome layer that wears through after a couple if weeks. there's no threads , The 'Universal' fit is achieved by the rubber bung being forced and/or screwed onto the threads of the gear stick, silicone oil helps getting it on.
