Almoast ideal for old systems

This is perfect SAS controller for the perfect price. The only annoying thing is the loading speed of it's bios. More than a minute. So once server is reloading you can add 1 minute to the loading process. Don't use it without back up battery it's cheap and worth to buy it. Also disappointing moment is that this controller is not compatible with ESXi (up to version 6.0) out of the box. No proper software for modern Windows servers (2008/2012), just a generic driver, while fully functional. Extremely hot, but it does not affect on stability and performance.

Perfect for old system

Reliability of old good days which I miss so much. Fast, reliable. Proper corporate level.

Too low critical temperature

This cpu is old, however it is perfect solution to revitalize old system on the 939 socket motherboard. It performs somewhere as the oldest Pentium G cpu but without built-in video-card. The most annoying is critical temperature - it is 60-65 C. Mean proper cooling is needed. It is also extremely demanding to the motherboard. I was able to run it stable on one of four motherboards. What is it good for in 2016. Well, maybe to operate as a router/firewall or cache server for web-project, or tiny SQL server.
