Better than the original.
Expensive, but worth it. Wider but slimmer than the original, and the battery lasts longer than even the best rechargeables though I’d prefer replaceable rechargeable batteries to extend the product’s life.
Overall feels much more ‘all of a piece’ than the last, and the mechanical power switch is miles better than the previous power/pairing button. Pairing is almost confusingly simple — just connect to the Mac with the lightning cable and it’s sorted.
Otherwise, it’s pretty much everything that was nice about the previous model: accurate, good ‘click’ feel, and doesn’t scooch around on the desk.
