A good utility workhorse
top quality sewing machine. built to last for years. As it is a very precise machine, it must be threaded correctly, used properly. It is not a difficult machine to use, but needs to be used correctly. Very smooth, quiet and powerful. I love that I get the electronic features (programmable needle stop up/down and low bobbin monitor) without all the "whistles and bells" of a true computerized machine.

one of the finest machines ever made
the Pfaff 1475 is one of the finest sewing machines ever made. At 25+ years old, it still holds it's own against most top-line non-embroidery machines made today in terms of features. In terms of workmanship, this machine is designed to sew for years and years, unlike contemporary machines with are planned and designed with obsolesce. The IDT dual feed on the Pfaff coupled with the industrial hook and internal quality make this machine hard to beat.
