"A little belter"
Well it is only a belt when all is said and done but it worked fine so I am pleased.
It is obviously resistant to the stretching that occurs during the drive mode where my old drive belt was slipping and coming off repeatedly. Excellent product with a name I can trust.

Whizzo stories from flight deck - nothing from the groundcrew
Sadly this book does not give voice to the ground crew of the V- Force as it states on the jacket information. 95% of the book is more stories by aircrew best read by other aircrew.
One or two references by a crew chief who flew with the aircrew but no references to the hundreds of skilled technicians who apparently did not exist but without whom the planes would not fly. I have really enjoyed Tony Blackman's other books but this one was a disappointment due to the lack of new photographs and the one sided view from the cockpit. Various aircrew recount their experiences as if they are talking to other aircrew in the mess relating who they met where and which squadon they were on and where - all a waste of time. I was a technician on the mighty Vulcan and want to know more about what it was like to sit for 5 hours in a black hole behind the pilots, the sensation of flying when you can't see out and with a live weapon on board. I would have liked to know what the ground crew got up to and the stories like the one's I could tell of the bomb doors opening in the hanger and a chair and table falling out where the card school had been meeting, or someone knocking out the windscreen on the wrong aircraft, or setting off all the fire extinguishers by mistake and so on. No attempt has been make to interview people on the flight line or in the hanger so because of that the title should be changed or more chapters included from the other side of the hanger doors.

The Dinky Toy Bible
If you at all interested in die cast models and especially Dinky Toys the this the bible. Lavishly illustrated and crammed with enormous amount of history and production detail this is exactly what I wanted and seldom get from a book of this type. Many photo's are taken in B & W at the famous Binns Road factory in Liverpool and evoke the working practices and labour intensive production ethos of the 50's and 60's. This book was described by David Busfield in his book 'Dinky Toys' (pub. Britains Heritage) as a major reference work that every collector should own. That sums it up very well and I would n't be without my copy now.
