Awesome movie but not modern quality recording
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an awesome take on P&P! Elizabeth Garvey is a wonderful Eliza Bennett, and they are faithful to the book. BUT...the movie was made for TV back decades ago and it does not come in a Blu-Ray, or even a crisp regular DVD. The picture is fuzzy at times. So disappointing for such a great movie. Maybe they will go back and improve it. There are frames with a black piece of something noticeable and I can only imagine this means the old film needs to be cleaned up. I wish they would put some effort into restoring it and make a really good quality DVD from it. That said, this is one of my very favorite movies! Worth a watch for sure, just know that this is old technology.
