Nice Chef Knife

The Wusthof Ikon 8" Chef knife I purchased is everything I expected. I already own several other Wusthof knives, all excellent quality, which perform as expected. The ergonomic handle is what I like most about the Ikon series, very comfortable to use. The knife stays sharp and is easy to touch up with a hone. Excellent knife for the price!

Very good product!

Used it immediately to cut up the ingredients for a large batch of fried rice! Cut up onions, shallots, garlic, carrots, ham, and it was very comfortable to use, blade came shaving sharp out of the box. Did not hone and used again to make salad and blade maintained sharp edge. The handle is ergonomic, finished very well. Very happy with the purchase. This Chinese cleaver has enough belly to rock chop, but it's still flat enough for push cuts and regular up and down chopping. Good price for what you get.
