Intriguing & Beautiful...but still HALO
Some background: I have never really been a HALO fan. I have always felt that once you have played for ten minutes you have done EVERYTHING you are ever going to do in HALO. You shoot... sometimes without a purpose just because it is all you do; oh yeah... and ride stuff. But I am trying to keep this in perspective and not ruin the games ratings because of my personal preferences. HALO is like a planetary shooting gallery wherein you run and shoot everything that moves: No strategy, No intuition, No stealth, No puzzles, Nothing to solve, Nothing to accomplish really... at some arbitrary spot in your shooting the game takes over and tries to convince you that you have accomplished something in the game. These times will come when you don't expect it and everyone in the room looks around at eachother like, "We did?" or "Uh... Cool!"
The backgrounds and settings in this HALO are worlds above its predecessors. The scenes and worlds are stunning in contrast to the former; extrememly colorful and intriguing which adds great appeal to HALO 3. The layout seems to be much more progressive and you feel like you are really navitating and fighting your way somewhere for a purpose. The baddies are all the same which is blah, the vehicles the same... blah, the weapons are updated from previous versions I think as I never played 2. If you love HALO you will be thrilled. If you don't I recommend renting or buying on of the Star Wars movies instead. They are more eye candy still and you will have something to show for your bucks. I am just a bit color blind and always found it hard to pick out baddies and combatabts in former versions. This is much better for someone like me as the contrast is much more vivid. Some of the places and worlds are very strange which is VERY cool; unique and innovative. I enjoy playing with my kids because they love it. Most of them are out of the house so when they come it is good time to spend together.
This is not really positive or negative generally but a mix of opinions about various parts of the game. For what it is it is the bast HALO but it IS HALO. I prefer a game that is much more immersive like the Splinter Cell series or Fable I & II, Ghost Recon series etc.

Pure Fiber - No other fluff
I love this product because it's REAL. Just Fiber. I checked it against a tub of similar size the other day at Walmart and in a 48 oz. tub (this one is 24 oz.) there was 12 oz. of Fiber!!! That's stinking HALF of the fiber that in this NOW tub in a container weighing TWICE as much. So what is the rest? Poison: sugar, chemicals, & crap!!! Buy this product if you care about your health!!!

To Only SMELL The Buffet...
Ahh... to only SMELL the buffet. This inevitably leaves one deeply wanting. This films bursts out of the gates and you begin to settle in for a great and deeply exciting ride that never really happens. This film (though entertaining) is like being on a roller coaster, climbing 70% - 80% up the "big hill" or the same towards the "corkscrew" and then breaking down. The park crew has to come and get you off the ride and we all walk down ladders and go home. See the feeling. This film never crests the big hill and there is no exhilarating "drop." It becomes very typical in that the first 30-45 minutes endeavor to build a power, invulnerability, and impenetrability in the SKULLS and the University and then a few collage kids are easily able to unravel all of their security, mystique, and global power in a few prankster type acts. Very silly! This is frustrating. It feels very unique and intriguing in the start and then again, it is like the producers went to the "B" film file and pulled out a canned ending and stapled it to the first 45 minutes of this picture. Much more development of the SKULLS and their organization and its mystique would have blessed this work immensely. Instead it turns into another "BIG important father with money manipulating the American system to make life how he demands." Ideas are stolen from other works like "The Firm" and are by now very much unoriginal (using some little known LAW to dethrone the powerful Lawyers).
