I, The Jury (Special Limited Edition, 4K UHD/BD/3DBD Combo) [New 4K UHD Blu-ray]

An unrecognized noir classic in beautiful 4K, but even better in the 3D Blu-ray.

Studiocanal have provided an excellent 4k restoration, but the 3D Blu-ray in this package is the real treasure. John Alton chose an unorthodox approach to 3D and it pays off. I don’t know any other 3D picture as daring as I THE JURY. I had previously seen this film only “flat” and was looking forward to some very impressive use of the stereoscopic image, but I was not ready for this — in the best way imaginable, laugh-out-loud stunned by the actual implementation. Harry Essex (d), John Alton (ph) and Victor Saville (p) created a unique gem with this work.
