Knock off
This doll is clearly the “Sunny” kit by Joanna kazmierczak, or I should say a cheap knock off. The other one in the picture is the “April” kit by the same artist. I am a reborn doll collector of several years now and I own a real April, and the one in the picture is either badly painted and/or a knock off. A lot of companies overseas copy these art dolls and sell them cheap like this. But the creator of the sculpt is being robbed of the revenue and credit. These dolls are sculpted as blank kits and hand painted individually and assembled by private individuals not factories. The real dolls cost hundreds of dollars, any doll in this price range not sold by a private collector or artist, is a knock off. And trust me, a collector would never likely sell their doll this cheap .

11 of 12 found this helpful I Hav the female version and want to get the male version. For the one who said they aren’t painted, yes they are, just not the same as a reborn. As to being sticky, they are VERY sticky, but that’s normal for a silicone. If you apply baby powder it removes the stickiness temporarily. They are too much fun to root, I rooted mine and found it so gratifying and relaxing I didn’t want to stop. The reborn world gives these dolls a bad rating because it’s claimed that one or two of the dolls were copied from reborn artists, a.k.a. “Stolen” from them. I don’t condone the theft if that’s what happened, but the artist should also copyright their work so that it can’t be stolen. I respect reborn doll artists but I like these dolls and I’ll buy them if I want to. If I get hate for it, oh well, life goes on.
