Curiosity, interest, research, brought me to purchase this product. Was it worth the sub £200? Well actually it literally blew me away. First, the sound is absolutely brilliant does exactly as it says on the box. I had a cheaper 5-1 surround sound system connected to my PC which was OK, but wires and leads everywhere. Sound was OK but as I now play a lot of music on PC I was looking for something a little special which looked tidy and minimal, less clutter, but could create a good sound.
This Bose system does just that. Two small desktop speakers no bigger than a clenched fist sit either side of the monitor and a desktop controller which controls volume, mute, headphone socket and an iPod socket, and of course the sub that sits on the floor. The sub incidentally weighs in at a hefty 14lbs for something that is relatively small.
Sit in front of your PC play some music close your eyes, you will be hard put to determine where the sound is coming from, crystal clear highs from left and right and a richness of bass that seems to come from the monitor, no distortion, it will wind up quite loud but there is a danger of you becoming a nuisance neighbour. This system produces sound as it was intended.
I don’t want to do a sales pitch for Bose as the name generally sells itself. Pricey, well £199.99, I think value for money, second hand they command good prices so you will not really loose out.I find it difficult to fault this system as I am well impressed. I do recommend this to music heads and perfectionists, it won’t disappoint

2 of 2 found this helpful This is a great jack and by no means light. It has a long chassis so can reach further underneath. It is well built and hefty and I am confident at the 3 tonne jacking capability. Having a small car and SUV this jack is a good all-rounder.I would highly recommend this jack. NOTE: I would always recommend a pair of safety stands to go with this piece of kit.
