Funny, inspiring...ended too soon!
So funny. I was genuinely sad when it was over. This lady has had a really tough life but she's a tenacious lady. I love her revenge plots against terrible men...I've picked up some tips :)

Very insightful history into the history of slavery
Very insightful. There are about 80 essays and they aren't too long which makes reading this huge book less intimidating. And trust me the book is humongous, but I expected no less considering the subject matter under discussion. It reveals the history not taught to us in schools or the media and helps the reader understand:
1. How certain perceptions between white and white communities were created in the first place
2. How non-white communities began to form and take on a life of their own despite the impossible odds stacked against them

Insightful, essential read for anyone interest in the war on drugs and international law
An absolutely mind-blowing take on tyranny of so called 'impartial' international drug law and the tragic effects it has had on brutalising various socio-economic-racial groups across the world. Great book, particularly well written introduction.
