10.5 inch Sliding Bevel. Hardwood Sliding Bevel gauge. Angle finding finder

Check your bevel

For a cheap sliding bevel this will do the job, after a little work. I bought two bevels, the first had a stock that tapered in length and was out of square, the blade also tapered. The second had similar faults, but the stock was square. These faults will show themselves when bevels are being transferred to the work in hand. However that said five minutes with a file and a plane and the faults are sorted.
