Dead Man's Curve and beyond
1 of 1 found this helpful As a long time fan of Jan & Dean and having the pleasure of knowing their history and meeting them both on occasion over the years this book pulls all the little missing pieces of the puzzle together. Written candid, accurate and honest and in a manner that will make it hard to put down. I have read several books written about this duo and of course saw the movie. Hear is the chance to read it without any drama beyond truth by Dean Torrence himself.
The book starts with their high schools and brings you up to date. Read about Jan & Arnie (I mean Dean) Dealing with small labels and then hitting it big at Liberty. Shady promoters and early days of touring, How their friendship with the Beach Boys began and how Jan's accident make them switch rolls. Read how the partnership survived even in situations that would have Yoko-ed the duo.

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Straight reissue of the 1964 Liberty album in ...visual sound STEREO. Fun to listen to, and drive the family crazy. Small children love it. Just wish they would have done the retro labels.
