Inconsistent, especially on carpeted floors

The scales promised so much yet delivered so little. Very disappointed in the results. On a hard floor we observed close to 15% variance in consecutive readouts. On a carpeted floor, even with the carpet attachments fitted, that variance rose to 20%. It's just so inconsistent that we've consigned it to the recycle centre.

Good at cooking, poor to control.

Works very well - eggs get cooked exactly according to the quantity of water used. What lets it down is the inability to stop the heater using the"on" switch... You have to unplug it, which means when you next plug it in it immediately starts heating up until the sensor detects it has boiled dry.
