Hard to judge but worth it to me
Hard one to rate. I bought three. The first took almost an hour and a half to program. A lot is left out in app and descriptions but you can work through if you have patience. But I am sort of good at this, not great. The second took 10 minutes, the third 15-20 minutes (my error by having a wrong product model number and not knowing it). If you have all the product/model numbers and inputs and outputs prepared, and can understand their approach to the design (e.g. better to just delete things and start over when there is a problem), this is a great product. If you miss any element or can't adapt, you will be unhappy. My third application wound up a bit limited, but that was my physical set up (TV in different room from receiver and cable box), and I can figure out a work around. I would buy this again for my specific use (trying to update 11 year old controls, new comcast box etc). If you don't want to play with this, have a mediocre wi-fi network, aren't comfortable with working through app menus or have an atypical physical arrangement I would not do it.
