Good value mini pliers
Solid and good value. Useful small pliers for light-duty work. I bought these for use in gripping cable and carrying on my bike.
The cutters weren't very sharp but better after a bit of judicious filing.
All in all a decent purchase.

Great folding workbenck
Solidly made, easy to fold, plus large work area. Only slight drawback is that some of the pegs are very tight on the holes, but that's minor and I'm sure they will loosen with use. Much better than the Workmate I used to have.

Fascinating oral history of Victorian London
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a paperback compendium of work from Henry Mayhew's interviews with street people and traders in Victorian London. Very enfaging and a fascinating insight into how some people managed to earn a meagre living in an era before the welfare state.
