Pure Evoke 1S radio - Good Sensitivity, good sound,good buy (used)
The Pure Evoke 1S picks up stations well and is easy to operate. Looks good and compact size and the sound is really good. I bought this radio for a friend who hadn't moved to DAB but was a daily radio listener, but after I told her about the display showing what song was playing at the time, she was soon a DAB convert - her old radios now don't get switched on any more!
I didn't buy other makes of DAB radio because the reviews of the Pure range of DAB radios seemed very positive - and there are a lot for sale on Ebay.
The only negative I have is the price for a new 1S (£100) however on Ebay I can get one for roughly half this price.
My friend is very happy with the Pure Evoke 1S - so I recommend this product as a good buy.

Good shaver. Keep it charged so not caught out by battery going flat.
I have had the Braun Series 1 190 shaver for more than 3 years and it gives a good shave (better than a series 3 I also have). Keep a spare foil/cutter in stock just in case the foil fails without warning. The only problem I have with this shaver is that it hasn't any charge capacity indicator. I got over this problem by buying another Series 1 190 which is ready to go when the other one dies. If you buy them on Ebay the 2 shavers together may only cost you a total of £60 (Argos £70 for one).
I am very happy with this shaver. The only niggle I have (with all Braun shavers) that you can't just buy the foil or cutter separately - I used to only ever buy the foil as the cutter [on my beard] seemed always to carry on giving me an adequate shave.

COX Easiflow Sealant gun
Well made basic sealant gun which I use in work and expect to still be using it for many years.
Gun locks and unlocks easily and handles haven't bent even if I have used excessive force to extract old Geocel 945 MS Polymer, which will still set if it can be got out of the cartridge.
