Really awful
3 of 3 found this helpful The blade was warped. Many paint chips. Plastic sliding paper guage very inaccurate. The actual cutting of paper was very bad and sometimes tore the paper (3 sheets of 80mg). I couldn't even be bothered to return it as the price (reflected in the quality) made it not worth the hassle. I have now spent £50 on a famous name rotary cutter (which I should have done in the first place).

This technophobe managed it!
I'm no PC expert and nearly 80 years old.
I inserted the supplied DVD and did as I was told (also entering the code on back of DVD sleeve when asked). Patience! It takes a quite time to scan for channels (make a cup of tea). After the scanning was finished I plugged the tuner in a USB2 socket and waited till balloon said 'device safely installed'. I then plugged roof aerial into tuner. I could watch all the channels I get on my big TV.
Then, for fun, I tried the little portable aerial supplied. I put it in the window fully extended and it still received all the channels (but occasionally freezing on a couple of them). The remote control also worked perfectly, but does require direct line of sight (so don't put the tuner at the back of the PC where you can't see it).

I did it! That means anyone can!
I'm 75 years old and managed to connect this up and working in 20 minutes. Just four connections with screws (no soldering). On one side of this well made PCB I connected a cheap mains adapter set to 12 volts DC. To the other side I connected a thin cable the other end of which had a miniature jack plug. I plugged this in to an old pair of powered computer speakers. Switched on and hey presto, pink noise! The control knob on the PCB gives a good sweep between high and low frquencies. I'm convinced that this sound will help this old man to get a more restful nights sleep. Thanks for this great gadget and the reasonable price.
