Decent build, strong motor, does the job.
1 of 1 found this helpful The item itself seems to be of decent construction & has good solide weight to it. The chunky tyres have deep treads for digging in & the motor is surprisingly strong. All the connections were good, solid connectors with decent cabling. The item itself is also very easy to control with the forward & backward buttons on the handle, leaving your other hand free to help push or pull the caravan if required.
There are 2 reasons I rate this 4/5 however. The instruction manual diagrams are not very clear, for example, when assembling the control arm, the first step already shows it as assembled with no indication as to what bolts & nuts to use in order to assemble it. I managed to figure it out eventually for myself, but this was not helpful.
The other reason is because the universal bracket it comes with for fitting & subsequently has a fitting for the lock provided, was just slightly off enough that I couldn't actually attach it to the frame of the chassis like I needed to, meaning instead, I've just had to use the old bracket, which also meant I couldn't use the provided lock.
I think as it also requires a 12v lead acid battery to power (I.E a small car battery) which in itself is fine, however, it would be good if it came with the correct connectors to attach the power cable to the battery instead of just the small screwhole hoops. Getting the right connectors was cheap & easy, but if they were provided it would have been more convenient.
