Great guitar
1 of 1 found this helpful This Gretsch is surprisingly a very nice guitar. It has a great balance and feel, and the neck is very playable. I did raise the bridge a tad because I found that the bridge pickup is a tad hot (on this one, anyway). Now, it rivals my Tele for the favorite in my rotation. Very pleasantly surprised!

Hard to beat this amp
3 of 3 found this helpful I use this head to push a Laney 212 cabinet. The tone of the clean channel is classic Fender. Rolling thru each of the “voices” is fun. I find myself tending to stay on the “70s British” setting for overdrive when I just plug and play at home and don’t feel like using a pedal board. The footswitch does it’s job there. If I’m running a pedal board (OD, reverb, delay, phaser) I tend to use the jazz master setting for clean, then work the board; but, that’s my own personal preference.
In all honesty, the value for this amp is amazing. You get great fender tone, more than enough volume (I can’t get it above 5-6 without killing my ears). I would feel comfortable gigging with this in any setting. Throw a mic in front of it, and I’m confident you could play larger venues with even an average sound guy.
Very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.
