a catchy early experiment in synthesizer pop music
A welcome return to the zany world of AFOS. Can't think of a catchy short version! There are some catchy tunes in here if you like you music a little bit off-track but still very "pop". This was when synthesizers had just hit mainstream and were still very new, so groups experimented and I think this one worked. More like Human League than Gary Numan.

the ruts hits ~ better than I thought
2 of 2 found this helpful This was a gamble ~ I could remember Babylon's burning, Something that I said and Staring at the Rude boys as being rough-at-the-edges half-decent punk. But I didn't know if they had produced anything else worth listening to. Check it out if you can as there a few good tracks and a particularly good atmospheric track to finish.
